BRC Gas Equipment is a brand owned by Westport Fuel Systems Italia S.r.l., a leading company dedicated to the manufacture and sale of CNG and LPG automotive components and systems. The company has a worldwide presence through its innovative LPG controllers.
BRC traces its roots to the village of Cherasco in Piedmont in the late 1960s as a local distributor of automotive gas system components. In 1977, then-owner Romano Bogetti decided to start manufacturing LPG multivalves, entering into an agreement with Mariano and Pier Antonio Costamagna, owners of M.T.M..
BRC Gas Equipment is a trademark owned by M.T.M. s.r.l., an Italian company belonging to the Westport Fuel Systems group, which develops, manufactures and sells alternative fuel components and systems.
In December 2020. M.T.M. srl became Westport Fuel Systems Italia S.r.l..
In Poland, BRC's direct distributor is Czakram, a company with which ZAMEL autogas has been cooperating for many years.
