Landi Renzo: From a family-run manufactory to a world leader in LPG and CNG systems

The story of Landi Renzo begins in 1954 in Reggio Emilia, Italy, where Renzo Landi and his wife founded a small company manufacturing mixers for LPG systems. It quickly became apparent that their products were in great demand, both on the domestic and international markets. As early as the 1960s, Landi Renzo equipment was being exported to Japan, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and later to many other countries around the world.

After the founder's untimely death in 1977, the company was taken over by his family. Through consistent growth and acquisitions of other entities, Landi Renzo has evolved into a powerful industrial group. Today, it is a world leader in the production of LPG and CNG fuelling systems, with a market share of more than 30%.

Milestones in Landi Renzo's history:

1993: Acquisition of Landi Srl and Eurogas Holding BV, which significantly expanded the company's activities.

1998: Establishment of Landi Renzo Polska.

1999: Acquisition of Med S.p.a., a company specialising in the manufacture of gas injectors.

2001: Opening of new, modern headquarters in Cavriago and acquisition of majority stake in EUROGAS Holding BV.

2003-2006: Intensive expansion into foreign markets with the opening of branches in Brazil, China, Pakistan and Iran.

2007: IPO on the Italian stock exchange and creation of LandiRenzo Corporate University.

2008: Acquisition of Lovato Gas, a major competitor.

2012: Addition of Safe SpA, a company specialised in the manufacture of methane stations.

2013: Acquisition of a 70% stake in Emmegas Srl, a company producing components for LPG and CNG systems.
