Injectors 3 cylinders
3-cylinder injectors in the CNG/LPG system
The 3-cylinder injectors are components of the CNG/LPG system that are used to precisely dose the gas to the intake manifold or directly to the engine cylinders. One 3-cylinder rail with three LPG injectors serves three engine cylinders. The 3-cylinder LPG injector rail is most often used for 6-cylinder engines, in which case there are 2 3-cylinder LPG injector rails per installation.
Principle of operation of 3-cylinder LPG injectors
Receiving a signal: The injector receives an electrical signal from the LPG system controller.
Opening and closing: Based on the signal, the injector opens and closes the three valves, regulating the flow of gas to the three cylinders served.
Gas dosing: The injector precisely doses the amount of gas fed to each of the three cylinders, ensuring an optimum air-gas mixture.
Advantages of 3-cylinder injectors
Compact design: They take up less space in the engine than three single injectors.
Ease of installation: Installation of 3-cylinder injectors is easier and faster.
Cost savings: They are usually cheaper than three single injectors.
