Injectors 2 cylinders
2-cylinder injectors in the LPG system
The 2-cylinder injectors are components of the CNG/LPG system which serve to precisely inject the gas into the intake manifold or directly into the engine cylinders.
One 2-cylinder rail serves 2 cylinders (the principle of 1 LPG injector per cylinder still applies).
Principle of operation of the twin-cylinder LPG injectors
Receiving signal: The injector receives an electrical signal from the LPG system controller.
Opening and closing: Based on the signal, the injector opens and closes the two valves, regulating the flow of gas to the two cylinders served.
Gas dosing: The injector precisely doses the amount of gas fed to each of the two cylinders, ensuring an optimum air-gas mixture.
Advantages of 2-cylinder LPG injectors
Compact design: They take up less space in the engine than two single injectors.
Ease of installation: Installation of 2-cylinder injectors is easier and faster.
Cost savings: They are usually cheaper than two single injectors.
