Elbows
Elbows in the LPG/CNG system
Elbows are components of the gas installation for changing the direction of gas flow. They are an important part of the system, enabling flexible gas pipe routing.
Functions of elbows in the LPG/CNG system
Changing the direction of gas flow: Elbows enable gas to be directed smoothly and efficiently to different parts of the system, adapting to the vehicle design.
Compactness: Elbows provide a compact way of connecting gas lines, making it easier to install and service the system.
Tube protection: Elbows can protect gas lines from kinking and mechanical damage.
Types of elbows
Different types of elbows are available, differing in material of construction, angle of twist and type of connection:
Material of manufacture: Elbows are usually made of brass, plastic or steel.
Torsion angle: Elbows are available in different twist angles, such as 45°, 90° or 135°.
