Lubricants
Lubricating liquids, lubrificants, or lubrificants are liquid concentrates added to the fuel to lubricate and cool the vital parts of the car's LPG system. These are mainly the LPG valve seats, but also the injectors, which are particularly prone to overheating. LPG lubricant reviews clearly indicate that it improves the engine's operating culture and lowers its operating temperature, has a positive effect on the life of LPG injectors and improves driving economy.
The LPG lubricant is dosed in the proportions specified by the manufacturer using a complete fitting kit (kit) which, if correctly installed, only requires topping up of the fluid similar to windscreen washer fluid. The dosage is expressed in drops per minute. The refill kit usually has a reserve indicator.
The most popular fluids are Flash Lube in convenient 1 litre, 2.5 litre and 5 litre capacities. It is worth looking around for cheaper equivalents of Flesh Lube, which will also do the job.
