Switches petrol gas
The petrol-gas switch is the only part of a car's gas system that is located in the passenger area of the car. The LPG switch has several important functions, mainly indicative. It acts as: an indicator of the gas level in the tank. Of course, due to the nature of liquefied petroleum gas as a fuel, it is not possible to indicate the exact level of gas in the tank, but the amount of gas and the moment of reserve can be approximated.
reserve indicator, operating mode indicator by means of LED lighting and sound.
LPG switches are designed differently for cars with injection and older cars with carburettors. The LPG switch is traditionally mounted in the cockpit near the driver's seat in a prominent position on the left or right side. In newer cars, the practice is to hide the switch more aesthetically so that it is essentially invisible at first glance, such as in the glove box or armrest. The Stag 2-W is one of the most popular LPG switches for cars with sequential injection. Meanwhile, the Stag 2-G was used in older cars with carburettor ignition. Other LPG system manufacturers such as KME, Landi Renzo or BRC have their own petrol-gas switches. Gas-gas switches are not used interchangeably. Installers practice using LPG switches to match the brand to the electronics being fitted.
