Injection rails and injectors
The LPG system requires dedicated injectors to feed vapour gas into the engine. LPG injectors should feed the gas accurately and quickly according to the control of the gas electronics. The injectors can be installed independently, but also in injector rails. Injection rails have dedicated injector inputs. Each injector rail should be ergonomic and easy to install, in addition to the basic operating parameters, which should correspond to the electronics used and the type and power of the engine. Dual-valve injector rails can be fitted individually or in pairs. Three-valve injector manifolds are ideal for higher-power, six-cylinder engines. Hana and Valtek LPG injectors are probably the most popular products. And let's not forget the Barracuda injectors - they also fulfil their role and are often recommended by ZAMEL customers.
How to choose the LPG injector?
When choosing the right LPG injector, we are mainly guided by its power output per cylinder expressed in hp (horsepower) or kW (kilowatts) in relation to the total power of the vehicle's engine. It goes without saying that it is better to use LPG injectors with any power reserve so that driving on gas is uninterrupted.
